The lace is GRS-certified and composed of 92% polyamide and 8% elastane, of which 53% is recycled polyamide and 5% is recycled elastane, ensuring a supple, comfortable fit with genuine traceability behind every fibre.

About the brand

Olly

Olly creates lingerie that is soft on the skin and lighter on the planet.

Founded by Mathilde and Clémentine after a formative year in Berlin, Olly began with a simple frustration. They could not find ecological lingerie that felt beautiful, comfortable and genuinely aligned with their values. So they decided to create it themselves.

From the start, Olly has focused on designing the most responsible lingerie possible while remaining honest about the realities of production. Organic cotton forms the foundation of their collections, chosen for its softness, breathability and reduced environmental impact compared to conventional cotton. Their lace is largely made from recycled fibres, including Q-NOVA yarn created through a mechanical recycling process that saves significant water, energy and carbon emissions. For bodysuits and yoga pieces, they use Tencel, a fibre derived from sustainably managed forests that is soft, breathable and produced with lower water usage.

Production is firmly rooted in Europe. Lingerie is made in Hungary, swimwear in Spain, yoga pieces in Portugal and bodysuits in France. Lace, accessories and fabrics are sourced across Italy, Germany, Austria and Spain, supporting European craftsmanship while limiting transport emissions. Materials are transported by boat and truck, never by plane.

Olly is transparent about imperfection. Recycled lace is still synthetic and releases microfibres. Organic cotton often travels from India due to limited European supply. Tencel, while lower impact, still requires processing. Rather than claiming perfection, Olly commits to constant improvement and thoughtful decision making, choosing better options at every stage and encouraging customers to buy less but better.

The brand is fully independent, built through crowdfunding and driven by two founders determined to create change at their own scale. With plastic free packaging and partnerships that support social inclusion in logistics, Olly combines ecological intention with social responsibility.
