Brand Story

Lark & Berry brings a distinctly modern perspective to fine jewellery, placing innovative design and lab grown diamonds at the heart of every piece.

Founded in London in 2018, Lark & Berry set out to challenge one of fine jewellery’s longest standing conventions. Rather than treating lab grown diamonds as an alternative, the brand built its entire jewellery house around them, becoming the first designer brand to work exclusively with lab grown diamonds and gemstones.

From the beginning, design came first. Lark & Berry launched not with engagement rings, but with fashion led fine jewellery created around colour, movement and self expression. Earrings, rings and statement pieces established a playful yet refined design language, with engagement jewellery following later. That heritage continues to shape the brand today, where diamonds are treated as a creative material rather than a template for how fine jewellery should look.

Lab grown diamonds share the same chemical and physical properties as mined diamonds, allowing Lark & Berry to create lasting fine jewellery without relying on traditional diamond mining. This choice reflects the brand’s commitment to a more considered approach to luxury, bringing together technological innovation, craftsmanship and a desire to rethink how precious jewellery can be made.

Over the years, its pieces have travelled far beyond the London studio, appearing at the Met Gala, Academy Awards, Cannes, BAFTAs, Grammys and other international stages. Yet the philosophy behind the jewellery remains personal. Whether creating an everyday diamond piece, an engagement ring or something bespoke, Lark & Berry begins with the individual rather than convention.

For Lark & Berry, fine jewellery is not something that needs to wait for a milestone. It can celebrate an occasion, become part of an ordinary Tuesday or simply express something about the person choosing to wear it. The result is jewellery intended to feel personal now and remain meaningful for years to come.
